There were no more stories written by the kids, but the kids begged the Professor to write a story about his pinewood derby car. So, the Professor thought of a great adventure story and he wrote it down so that he could read it to the kids.
The Professor had all the kids sit down and he opened his laptop computer and got ready to read the story. Then it happened…the Professor accidentally hit a button that scrambled his story, and then he accidentally saved the scrambled story! The Professor said, “Ooops!”
The Professor explained what had happened and said that he could not read his story. The kids begged him to read the scrambled story, they thought it would be funny! So, the Professor read the scrambled story:

Professor Ooops Lesson from the Bible:
The Professor had not expected the story turn out like this, so he had to take a little time to figure out what he could teach the kids from this story! Suddenly he had an idea and told the kids to gather around and listen.
The Professor said that just like his story got all mixed up and did not make sense anymore, many times the life of a believer gets all mixed up and does not seem to make sense anymore. Every believer gets to a point in their life when they are facing a problem that they never expected, and they ask, “Why did God allow this?” or “Where is God right now, doesn’t He love me anymore?” We do not understand why God allows bad things to happen in this life. When those bad things happen, we can feel alone and abandoned.
God understands that we struggle with these feelings when bad things happen. In the Bible God reminds us that He will never leave us or abandon us, He loves us always, and that the bad things have a purpose.
In the Bible in John 3:16 it says:
For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
In the Bible in Hebrews 13:5b it says:
“I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
In the Bible in Romans 5:8 it says:
But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ (Jesus) to die for us while we were still sinners.
In the Bible in Romans 8:28 it says:
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.
In the Bible in James 1:2-4 it says:
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
When life is all mixed and does not make any sense, keep faith in Jesus and stay close to Him. Someday when this life is over and we get to heaven, this will all make sense. God is at work in each believer’s life to make them more like Jesus and to get us ready to spend forever in heaven.
In the Bible in I John 3:2 it says:
Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but He has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is.
